Focus on Philips Foundation
Financial sponsorship, in-kind donations, employee involvement: the Philips Foundation uses all channels to support children!
Like corporate sponsors, Foundations enable Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque to establish its financial security over the long term. The Association's actions have a measurable, reliable and tangible impact for beneficiaries and sponsors alike: a sick child becomes a cured child.
Financial, technical and human support

Doctor Lucet and Estelle, Philips employee using the "Philips Lumify".
Since 2017, the Philips Foundation has been supporting Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque. In addition to funding 9 missions to the tune of €90,000, Philips has donated 2 ultrasound machines: a CX 50 and a Lumify.
The CX 50 not only provides concrete solutions for children with heart problems detected during missions abroad, but also enhances the training of local doctors. It is also used daily at the Association's headquarters for pre- and post-op consultations.
Philips Lumify is the state-of-the-art in echocardiography. Its lightness and practicality enable precise diagnoses in sometimes difficult working environments.
Philips employees get involved
Since 2017, seven Philips employees have accompanied Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque teams on medical missions. In Cameroon, Benin, Burkina Faso, Togo and Congo Brazzaville, Senegal and soon Madagascar.
They were a great help during the consultations, and were able to appreciate the mission of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque in the countries of origin of the children under our care.
Thank you for your human, technical and financial support.
