Yogis of Heart 2019
In the exceptional setting of the Orangery of the Château de Versailles, nearly 700 yogis gathered on Sunday 29th September to take part in the 6th edition of the Yogis du Coeur. Thanks to their mobilization and the generosity of our sponsors, we are very happy to announce that 3 little hearts will soon be able to be taken care of thanks to the proceeds of this solidarity event.
A place steeped in history for a unique yoga session
For the 4th edition in Versailles, nearly 700 participants gathered at the Orangerie du Château de Versailles, a place truly steeped in history. Completely charmed by the setting and settled into the immensity of the hall, it didn't take long for the yogis to fill it with warmth and an atmosphere conducive to relaxation.

A great yoga session open to all!
After a gentle musical opening by renowned yogi and singer Aria Crescendo, yoga teacher Anne Leca and Les Amazones Parisiennes volunteered to lead the 1h30 yoga session. New for 2019: yogis had the opportunity to discover or rediscover the practice of duo postures, which gave rise to beautiful moments of exchange and sharing.

And because yoga isn't just for grown-ups, 50 mini yogis had the opportunity to learn about the practice thanks to the "Yoga and Nature" workshop run by Ferdie and Hiba with the help of volunteers. They plunged the children into a world of enchanted forest, thanks to the orange trees from the Château de Versailles that adorned this wing of the Orangerie. Each child was able to express themselves, participate freely in the activities and enjoy these moments of sharing.
A moving encounter
At the end of the session, the yogis had the joy of meeting Keren Joanna, an adorable one-and-a-half-year-old Cameroonian recently operated on at the Marie Lannelongue Hospital in Paris, who had come especially for the occasion with her host family. It was a magical moment, which enabled them to appreciate the importance of this event, the proceeds of which will soon be used to care for 3 little hearts suffering from cardiac malformations.
A magnificent balance sheet made possible by our partners
If we are able to devote a large part of the proceeds from Yogis du Coeur to financing operations for children with heart problems, it's thanks to the generosity of our partners. Many thanks to the Château de Versailles, which has made this magnificent venue available to us free of charge. Thanks also to Clarins, a patron of theAssociation for 20 years, who donated €12,000, the amount needed to operate on one child. And thanks to Baya for donating new yoga mats, and to Lov Organic for providing us with everything we needed to set up a tea bar for participants to enjoy at the end of the morning. Thanks also to our corporate partners Dassault, CHEP, Larsen, Gamblin, Cheerz and the "Au Vieux Village" bakery in Noisy-le-Roi.
Together, we're going to give 3 children the chance to have the operation that will change their lives. Namaste!
