Les Talents du Cœur: 138 students take to the stage for children with heart disease!

30.03.2023 - Schools of the heart - Events
On Saturday March 18th, the Massillon School (Paris) organized the 4th edition of the Talents of the Heart. This show in favor of children with heart disease mobilized students from kindergarten to high school during an exceptional show in the magnificent Halle des Blancs Manteaux.

Since 2016, we've been able to count on the support of École Massillon to save children through various events (cross country, sports challenges...). As the name suggests, the Talents of the Heart event puts the spotlight on the talent of our students. And there's no shortage of talent! Singing, music, dance, gymnastics, plastic arts... every year we are blown away by their artistic performances!

In the audience was little Fatoumata, accompanied by Martine and Daniel, her foster family. Originally from the Ivory Coast, Fatoumata was able to undergo heart surgery thanks to donations collected by the hospital. Discovering the concrete results of their actions was a wonderful surprise for all present. Fatoumata, who is 2 and a half years old, was very well-behaved throughout the show, and even had some fun with the students.

Ticket sales, donations, sales from the boutique and catering area from this 4th edition raised over €6,000 for the association, adding to the school's overall fundraising. All can be very proud of their talents, and above all of having helped save 14 children from heart disease over the past 7 years!

Many thanks to the Mairie de Paris Centre for providing the magnificent Halle des Blancs Manteaux free of charge. Thanks also to all our valued partners (3G Services, Group HD Menuiserie ADM, Match Event, Guéret sécurité, Scolarest, ADDSP, Aprile, VS mobilier, Bruneau, Denis Power, RMA ascenseurs, Maitrise-Toit and the APEL Massillon parents' association) and to all the volunteers who turned out in force. Thanks to everyone's generosity, the event's production costs were kept to a minimum, and as much of the proceeds as possible went to helping children with heart problems.
