Julie, a high school volunteer

13.02.2019 - Volunteers
It was in second grade, at the Thibaut de Champagne high school in Provins, that Julie got to know Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque when one of our volunteers came to present the Association. Very moved by the cause and the children's journey, the 17-year-old girl has invested a lot of time as a volunteer to help them.

A timetable driven by volunteering

Between classes, homework and extracurricular activities, it's not always easy to fit volunteering into a high school student's schedule. But as Julie says: "I make time for Mécénat. Dynamic and caring, the young woman from Provence makes herself available whenever she can to carry out or support actions for the benefit of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.

Distribution of posters in the shops of Provins to promote a concert, sale of goodies, reinforcement during events ... In one year Julie has not been idle! And her participation in the Great Christmas Sale last December remains her fondest memory: "I was able to meet children operated on by the Association for the first time there, it's great to see those we're fighting for! »

A unifying and unifying initiative

We'd like to express our gratitude to Julie for her commitment, but also to the Conseil de Vie Lycéenne and Mr Mansencal, principal of Lycée Thibaut de Champagne, who are always ready to support us.
Volunteering at Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque means joining a dynamic team united around a single goal: saving children with heart defects.
