Samantha Davies, skipper du bateau Initiatives-Cœur, prendra le départ de la prochaine édition du Vendée Globe le 10 novembre 2024 aux Sables d’Olonne. Les exploits de Sam lors de cet incroyable tour du monde en solitaire et en solidaire nous permettra de sauver de nombreux enfants !

Naylah guide Sam from the top of the mainsail
Naylah is a little girl from the Democratic Republic of Congo who we operated on in 2018 and again in 2021 to repair her heart. During her last visit, she had the chance to meet Sam before she set off on the Transat Jacques Vabre 2021. A beautiful complicity was then born between the little girl and the sailor, who was keen for her to become the face of her new boat: "When I'm alone at sea, Naylah's gaze is a great source of motivation."
