Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque operates on children in 11 surgical centers in France and 2 in Switzerland. The regional referents are all volunteers and take care of the foster families and the medical follow-up of the children. They are also supported by other volunteers in order to multiply fundraising actions, notably through the organization ofsolidarity events events and the development of the Schools of the Heart.
In every region there is a referee, representing Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, who manages the foster families, the arrival of the children and their journeys, medical and global. They keep us informed at all times about the evolution of the care and any difficulties encountered.

Hospitals, volunteers, businesses, schools, runners of the heart...
the A.S.F. couriers accompany all the children.
On arrival in Paris, foster families, who often get up at dawn (the planes arrive early) are waiting, impatient and moved, for "their child". The journey has been long and sometimes trying, the child is tired, disoriented, fearful...
The conveyors, also tired, hand over children and luggage to the families. They took care of their little protégé, whose state of health was sometimes precarious, throughout the flight! They are the ones who experienced the separation and who were able to talk and give the parents confidence. THANK YOU to our friends and "associates" from the beginning: Aviations Sans Frontières, an exemplary association.
The permanent team of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque is organized in three areas of activity.
The medical department is in charge of analyzing the files and ensuring the arrival of the children in France. It coordinates all the medical action: host familiesrelations with hospitals and doctors, missions, training of doctors.
The development department is responsible for creating and using all possible means to obtain resources to increase the number of children operated on. The team is responsible for communication, relations with partners and the organization ofsolidarity events.
The team is supported by a large number of volunteers volunteers who actively contribute to the strength and good management of the Association.
The role of the administrative and financial division is to centralize and process all financial flows in order to draw up the annual accounts and to provide information to the Management and the divisions for their respective needs.

Fixing the hearts of children born with heart defects means giving them a second birth. For Preston, it also gave him the chance to fulfill one of his wildest dreams with his foster family.
The Trophée du Cœur, organized for the first time in 1997, is the oldest event produced by the association. On Tuesday, April 18th, the 26th edition kept its promises by gathering 300 golfers in the magnificent setting of the Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche Golf Club, and broke records because for the first time we will be able to operate on 15 children at the end of the event!!!
The 6th edition of the Soirée du Cœur, which has become an unmissable event for the Association at the beginning of the year, was held on Monday, March 27 in the magnificent setting of the Salle Gaveau. This gala evening will allow us to operate on 4 children with heart disease in the world.
