Successful mission to Djibouti

A medical team flew to Djibouti last February for a week. In a country with a high military occupation and an unstable economy, access to health care is extremely complicated. Three years after our last mission in this country, we found it essential to return there to ensure the follow-up of children already operated on, to examine sick children and to maintain a relationship of trust with the State leaders.

Kamer, 20 years old, 3 heart surgeries, 1 life saved.

Kamer is a 20 year old Nigerian boy. He was only 2 years old when he was operated on for the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaquefirst time with Open Septum Lung Atresia.
