The Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche Golf Club offers an idyllic setting for the Trophée du Cœur, so the day's program had to be as good as the course. That's why we offered golfers meals served in the Club House, a raffle with dream trips to be won, exceptional prize-giving, waffle and cocktail stands on the terrace, snacks on the course and tee gifts.
In order to guarantee the smooth running of this program, we were able to count on the help of an army of "red ants", nearly fifty volunteers who worked from morning to night to set up, serve, sell, tidy up, clean up... This event could not continue without their precious gift of time.
To brighten up this golfing day under a grey sky, Nadia, who celebrated her 6th birthday on April 5th, came with her host family. Living in Niger, it was impossible to operate her in her country. Thanks to our chain of solidarity, she benefited a few weeks ago from a heart surgery at the Marie Lannelongue Hospital, near Paris. Since then, she is doing wonderfully and she is a sparkling little girl who went to meet the golfers. Nadia also discovered the joys of golf alongside her dad and her foster brothers who were participating in the competition.
In order to save children with heart disease like Nadia during this event, it is essential for us to minimize the expenses related to the organization in order to devote a maximum of funds to the children's operation. We are very fortunate to be able to count on the generosity of partners who are willing to offer us their products or services. It is largely thanks to them that we can announce that this edition has beaten all records because 15 little hearts will soon be operated on and go back to life in good health.
