Marathon de Paris 3 children saved and the Runners for the Heart are over-motivated!

Running the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is a sporting feat. The Coureurs du Cœur have chosen to make it a feat of solidarity by raising a minimum of €420 each for children with heart disease and by wearing the Association's colors during the race on Sunday, April 2, 2023.

D-1: All gathered around Nolan

The day before the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris we had the joy of receiving a part of this beautiful team of Runners of the Heart in the offices of the Association in Paris. Around a breakfast, these meetings gave rise to beautiful moments of exchange, sharing and emotions during the meeting with Nolan and his host family. This little boy from the DRC was able to undergo free heart surgery in France thanks to all the funds collected by the Coureurs du Cœur.

We thought that 2 children could be operated after the event, but on the day of the Marathon we had the good surprise to receive additional donations and to pass the 36 000 € mark which will allow a third little heart to be repaired!

D-Day: A double dose of motivation

On Sunday, 71 Coureurs du Cœur took the start of the Marathon de Paris. They all say that running for children and giving heart to their marathon is a great experience beyond the physical effort. To thank them for their mobilization and to encourage them, we were present at the 37th km. Accompanied by the Brazilian percussion group Batalawho came voluntarily, we made noise to give them energy on the last kilometers.

At D+1, we would like to congratulate our dear Coureurs du Cœur and thank them warmly for their generosity, their motivation, their state of mind, their good mood and their solidarity. The world's children with heart problems are very lucky to be able to count on these sportsmen and women with a big heart!
