News from Djibouti's children

During the mission to Djibouti, which took place from October 12 to 20, we were very happy to see 38 patients who had already been operated on as part of their medical follow-up. Among them Meido, Raga and Shamsadine who are doing wonderfully!

What a pleasure to see Meido again, now a beautiful, blossoming young woman!

More than 10 years after the surgical closure of his CIA in Paris, we can say that Meido is cured.

At 25 years old, she is now an accounting assistant for a private company. She and her boyfriend were anxiously awaiting the consultation with our cardiopediatrician to confirm that they could start a family without risking Meido's health.

We wish them much happiness!

Operated of a CIV in Tours in 2018 at the age of 7, Raga had been well surrounded by her foster family and particularly by Charlie and Zoé, her two sisters of heart with whom she was very complicit.

During the mission, we found her with her little sister! She has become an adorable 11 year old girl, in great shape, who works well at school and whose favorite subject is French.

Our little Shamsadine has grown up a lot! He that we had operated on his Laubry Pezzi in Toulouse at the age of 12 in 2017, has a superb heart result and life ahead of him.

"I would like to become a pilot and don't worry I am doing very well in math! I'm also the happiest to finally be able to participate in sports classes!" he told us. We are very confident for the future of Shamsadine who came for a consultation accompanied by his father, who is very grateful to the association and is fully behind his son's projects.

Guinea 2022 Mission

Return on our 1st mission in Guinea!

The Association organizes on average 4 to 6 missions abroad per year. Some are "follow-up missions", when we go to countries we have been to before, and others are "discovery missions", when we send a team to a country we have never been to before. This was the case for the mission to Guinea from November 25 to December 1, 2022.
