It was at the foot of the famous stairs of the Montmartre hill in Paris thatHappy Culture had given the public an appointment for a meaningful challenge: to make your heart beat for children by climbing the 200 steps of the grand staircase leading to the Sacré Cœur. For each ascent, our partner donated €100 to the Association. Influencers, Koh-Lanta adventurers, athletes, host families and volunteers were present to animate the challenge and encourage the participants.
Under a beautiful sun and with music, the public was made aware of the Association's cause through this challenge: climbing more than 200 steps, by walking or running, causes breathlessness similar to that experienced daily by children suffering from heart disease, thus preventing them from eating properly, doing sports and sometimes even getting around.
Kanibatou and Mariam, two little girls recently operated on by the Association, were present accompanied by their host family.
Just a few weeks ago, before her heart surgery, Mariam was too out of breath to walk more than 100 metres. The surgery she underwent has totally transformed her and Mariam impressed us by walking up the stairs 10 times!

In parallel to this sports challenge, a digital challenge was launched. Happy Culture In addition to the sports challenge, a digital challenge was launched in which people who were not able to participate in the sports challenge were invited to like a post on their Instagram account. For each like, €1 was donated to the Association.
Thus, €70,000 was collected! This beautiful sum will allow 5 children with heart problems to be operated on in the near future. Many thanks to Happy Culture for its generosity and to all the participants!
