Thank you Georges Kinda

Doctor Georges KINDA, Officer, Research Teacher at the Joseph KI-ZERBO University (UFR- Health Sciences), Head of the Cardiology Unit of the CHUP-Charles De Gaulle, in Burkina Faso, left us on Tuesday 14 September 2021. While on a study trip to Mali, he died suddenly in Bamako.
Georges Kinda

Georges was a friend of Mécénat for more than 15 years. As a military doctor, he approached us when he was looking for a structure to take care of the little heart patients in his country. After a few years of collaboration, he came to Paris in the spring of 2010 to follow the Accelerated Training in Pediatric Cardiology offered by the Association. At that time, we were able to appreciate his competence, his kindness and above all his great availability to serve children with heart disease and their families.

In November 2019, we organised a working meeting with some of our medical referents. Georges was there, of course, and we all had a warm but very studious week. Everyone appreciated his joie de vivre and enthusiasm.

This is the memory we will keep of him.

We will miss you Georges and we know from your friends in Burkina that your little patients and their parents are mourning your departure.
