We are very proud to be the official Association of this beautiful sporting event which has enabled us to save children through various solidarity operations for the past 12 years.
For the past 10 years, we have been able to count on the mobilisation of Carrefour shops in the Manche and Centre regions to support children through the sale of solidarity shopping bags.
This year, the shopping bags were decorated with an original comic book illustration. It recounted the adventure of the 109 car, a Ligier JSP3 in the colours of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, participating in the race.
The sale, of which all profits were donated to the Association, began in May 2021 in more than 30 Carrefour shops. The operation was a great success, as it enabled 7 children with heart problems to be saved as part of the Great Collection!
Thanks to the support of theAutomobile Club de l'Ouest (organizer of the event), and our partners(IEvent, Camerus and Graphi Concept), we were lucky enough to be present again this year in the village of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a sales and animation stand dedicated to the Association. During 4 days, our team of volunteers made the Association known to the public, collected donations and sold articles for the benefit of the children.
On the stand or online, the general public mobilised massively by making donations of €2 or more, enabling us to increase the size of The Big Collection and save more children. This beautiful chain of solidarity demonstrates once again that there are no "small donations" and that together we can change the lives of children with heart disease.
More than just race cars, the #65 PanisRacing LMP2 and the #24 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports LMP2 present on thestarting grid of the race were true works of art! Designed by the artist Laurent Minguet, these two Art Cars were available as digigraphs for sale in aid of Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque.
This year, the members of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest organised an original event in aid of children with heart disease. Each member had the opportunity to reserve a plate and thus to put his or her name on the "Fan Wall". For each plate sold, a donation of €5 was made to the Association.
Thank you very much to all those who participated in the collection of funds to operate on 10 children with heart disease, for them it is a new life that will start.
