Many of you are asking how we can save children by being present on the Tour de France. It's simply thanks to a lot of work by our teams, but also and above all thanks to a great surge of generosity from partners, stage towns, volunteers and the public! This is why the key word for this 2021 edition is: THANK YOU.

12,000 is needed to finance a child's heart operation. In such a particular crisis context, raising 16 times this amount is no mean feat. Thanks to donations from the public, partners and local authorities hosting the race, we have succeeded in reaching the objective of La Grande Collecte du Tour de France ! THANK YOU to everyone, it is a great victory that we share with you.
THANK YOU to our ambassadors at the Heart's Stage
A not-to-be-missed event, the "Étape du Cœur" is carried out by our ambassadors in order to promote the Association in the media. Once again this year, we were able to count on the support of a happy band of celebrities who gave their time for the children and pedalled on the time trial course between the towns of Changé and Laval in Mayenne.

THANK YOU to E.Leclerc and the participants of the Summits of the Heart
For the past 3 years, E.Leclerchas been a partner of the Tour de Francehas been supporting children with heart disease through the "E.Leclerc Heart Summits" event. In the villages where the event takes place, the general public is invited to pedal on a tandem bike in front of a screen showing them climbing Mont Ventoux. E.Leclerc then translates the efforts made into euros to increase the counter of La Grande Collecte.

Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque travels the roads of the Grand Loop thanks to the presence of 3 vehicles in the caravan and a team of volunteer caravanners. From the vehicles to the goodies, including the caravanners' outfits and accommodation, everything is offered or lent to us by our kind-hearted partners who allow us to be present in the caravan every year.
New in 2021: the Patronage caravan is expanding and integrating the "Merci truck", a truck positioned every day on the course to thank all those who help children during the event.
